Rooster Retreat Bed and Breakfast, Raystown Lake Region, Cassville, PA

Today we visit the Rooster Retreat Bed and Breakfast in the Raystown Lake Region in Cassville, roughly 15 minutes east of Raystown Lake. Its location is secluded, quiet, and with awesome views of the Trough Creek Valley and the mountains of the Alleghenies. Trough Creek State Park is only roughly 20 minutes down the road, an awesome hiking destination for all skill levels with spectacular geologic formations and natural beauty. The many other attractions of the Raystown Lake Region are located within a short distance as well. Rooster Retreat Bed and Breakfast far exceeded our expectations and their price point is excellent and extremely affordable.

The night that we stayed had temperatures hovering around 0 degrees, however, the room was extremely toasty, thanks to the fireplace.

There is a covered patio area and outdoor fire ring for warmer days, in addition to an excellent view of the Alleghenies.

Breakfast consisted of delicious omelets, fruit, and english muffins.

We highly recommend spending some time at the Rooster Retreat Bed and Breakfast. The room is excellent in every way, Barbara is an excellent host, and the secluded area is so beautiful. It is located within close range of everything that the Raystown Lake Region and Huntingdon County have to offer. Be sure to check them out!
