I try to go to a different church each week, considering how many stunning structures are located throughout the city. I was particularly enamored by the beauty of the Our Lady of Angels Church. While this is technically considered to be in the Lawrenceville neighborhood, it is pretty much on the edge of the Lawrenceville, Bloomfield, and Strip District neighborhoods of Pittsburgh. This is a terrific church.
There is also a beautiful Lutheran facility across the street. |
The Our Lady of Angels entry doors decorated for the Easter season. |
The vaulted ceilings are spectacular, along with the rotunda. |
This is definitely one of my favorite churches. Stunningly beautiful. |
