Today we take a look at the beautiful Knecht's Mill Covered Bridge. This 110 foot span is fifteen feet wide, dates back to 1873, and was built in the Town Truss style. It crosses Cook Creek, south of Springtown, in Springfield Township, Bucks County, and near Riegelsville. It is located within miles of the mighty Delaware River, in the rolling hills of Bucks County. Both portals to the covered bridge are adorned with wreathes for the holiday.
The convenient location of this bridge, not too far from the 611 corridor up the Delaware River, should make this a stop for anyone heading through the area.
